In der Regel würde ich sagen WENN NIX dazwischen kommt (Bug) würde ich sagen 1 Monat.

Die FW 4.0 wurde am 15.8. angekündigt und am 12.9. wurde sie für alle User freigegeben.

die firmware 4.50 beta 4 ist heute erschienen! (bisher habe ich keinen changelog gefunden.)

Hab die 5TB Version erfolgreich im Einsatz.
Es gibt nur 2 Voraussetzungen:
- USB 3.0 (extern natürlich)
- mind. 250GB (damit fallen kleinere SSDs flach) , aber max. 8TB

Bei den 250GB bin ich mir nicht 100% sicher, aber so in der Größe wird mind. gefordert.

Hmmm die angeblichen vollständigen FW-Releasenotes, die kurze auf der China PS Seite standen...angeblich laut PSU:

4.50 version of the main features of the upgrade

  • - minimum capacity of 250GB, the maximum capacity of 8TB

Was mir letztens am PC schon aufgefallen ist und das ging vor ein paar Monaten definitiv noch nicht: Wenn man einen DS4 am PC anschließt, dann kann man das Gerät auch als Standard Audio Eingabe/Ausgabe Gerät festlegen und Ton dann halt darüber ausgeben (Klinkenanschluss). Also wird man wohl auch bei Remote Play das beiliegende PS Headset nutzen können.

BTW: Auf Reddit hat gestern einer mit dem Sony Support geschrieben und der Kollege meinte auch, dass Update würde Heute erscheinen:

Dann wird man sich wohl überraschen lassen müssen.

Naja bei der Switch brauchst du zwingend ein Smartdevice um den Chat zu nutzen. Hier meinen sie nur, dass du nun auch die PS4 Party über Remote Play nutzen kannst, mit Hardware die an deinem PC hängt, oder deinem Telefon. Das sind schon noch zwei verschiedene Paar Schuhe.

Man kann also verschiedene Bilder für den Hauptbildschirn und den Einstellungen-Hintergrund wählen?!

Mir ist vorhin noch was ultimativ dummes eingefallen.
Ich wollte letztens Remote Play nutzen, starte so das Tool und dann kam jedes beschissene mal die Meldung, dass das Tool erst geupdatet werden müsse. Ich so, wtf. Was soll der scheiss. Jetzt fiel mir auf, dass ich ja die Beta Firmware drauf hab
