Schaut irgendwie aus als würde das Spiel ins Gerné "Hack&Slay" fallen. <.<
Zumindesteinmal habe ich ein paar mal im Trailer das Wort "Wave" gelesen, gefolgt von einer Zahl, was wohl darauf schließen lässt das es mehrere Angriffswellen zu besiegen gilt.
Für Highscorejäger sicherlich interessant. =/

Naja, ersteinmal abwarten...

Doublesix, a developer of videogames and interactive software has excitedly announced the upcoming release of what will hopefully prove to be one of the most addictive and charismatic Shoot-‘Em-Ups of 2009: Burn Zombie Burn! will be available exclusively on Playstation Network on Thursday, March 26, 2009.

Burn Zombie Burn! is one of Sony Computer Entertainment America’s exclusive downloadable games on their PlayStation Network, and will be given the all star promotional treatment to ensure it’s success. Players can take part in High Score and Trophy competitions to win a horror themed holiday abroad, framed Burn Zombie Burn! artwork signed by the development team and of course, limited edition t-shirts depicting the characters from the game.

Doublesix promises to provide additional PlayStation Network Downloadable Content for Burn Zombie Burn! including a Strategy Guide with hints and tips from the creators of the game, an eight-page “BZB” graphic comic and the unique catalogue of music tracks composed specifically for the game.

Burn Zombie Burn! is set across six classic American-Horror Movie inspired Levels. A top-down, arena-based third-person Shoot-’Em-Up in the classic coin-op tradition will contain all new mechanics.

The goal is simple: to get the highest score possible. Your hero is Bruce - an average every-day Joe who was looking forward to spending some ‘quality time’ with his girlfriend Daisy when their Saturday night is interrupted by a zombie invasion.

Standing in your way is a never ending horde of undead. To survive you must shoot, burn and explode as many zombies as possible before they overwhelm you. Fire is your most important tool and massive scores can be achieved by burning the zombies en masse and setting up huge chains of explosions that wipe them out in one go.

Besitzt jemand das Spiel und kann ein bischen seine Eindrücke schildern? Habe vor mir das Game zu kaufen und bin etwas unschlüssig. Denn wenn es wirklich nur sowas wie Cash Guns Chaos ist, nur mit Zombies, dann kann ich darauf wohl verzichten.

Ich kenne Cash Guns Chaos leider nicht. Kann also keinen Vergleich aufstellen.
Aber Burn Zombie Burn macht süchtig!
Es sind verschiedene Modis verfügbar (unter anderem ein Multiplayer-Modus), wovon einige aber erst freigeschaltet werden müssen (so auch der MP).
Std-Waffe ist ne Pistole mit undendlich Muni & eine Fackel. Die Gegner erscheinen in Std-Arcade-Modus in Wellen, wobei das Spiel natürlich nicht abwartet bis man eine Welle platt gemacht hat. Es gibt noch den Time-Modus & rette Daisy (oder wie auch immer der heißt).
Die Waffen sind anfangs zwar nett, später kommen recht kranke Sachen, wie eine Rießen-Gatling, Rasenmäher, Discosound-Maschine (alle Zombies tanzen & lassen sich plätten), usw.
Die Grafik ist nett wenn auch nicht der Hammer, aber aufgrund der dunklen Schauplätzen, seht man eher die Feuer & Waffeneffekte.
Es gibt viele Extras zum Feischalten u.a. ein 50er Jahre Graufilter, Spielemodis, Waffen, usw.
Mir hat es bisher sehr viel Spaß gemacht & nach einem harten Arbeitstag war es echt entspannend Horden von Zomies zu plätten.
