Origin spielt 1000 Jahre in der Vergangenheit also ohne Adol.
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-MDxwC6m5I[/ame] Der nächste Teil in der Story ist dann Ys Chronicles den ich momentan auf der Vita zocke.

We spent five hours on Falcom's definitive reiteration of Ys IV.

To avoid attacks, players just need to press the X button to dodge, and the triangle button to do a quick block. The kicker is that dodging at the last possible frame of the attack will trigger flash roll, where time slows down for a few seconds so that players can amass a quick counterattack to punish enemies. Blocking at the last second will not only nullify damage, but also gets you back a good chunk of SP energy to pull off more moves.

-The next Ys game is already being worked on. There are those at Falcom who would like to see the jump button return to Ys. Dengeki themselves said they would love to see a mix of jump action with the party system of 7/Celceta. Kondo says that while it would be very difficult to balance, he is interested in giving it a shot.

-Falcom wants to get into the Guiness Book of World Records for making the most games in a series staring the same character. Kondo says jokingly their biggest rival is probably Solid Snake and Metal Gear.

-After Ys Celceta came out, Falcom saw a huge boost in download sales of previous title Ys 7. They wanted to make an Ys game in Celceta that would be particularly welcoming to first-time Ys players, and feel that they accomplished that, and that the post-Celceta sales of Ys 7 are one of the reasons they feel they hit that goal.

-Falcom wants fan input regarding what they want to see in the next Ys game. They want Vita users to access the survey from the LiveArea of Ys Celceta to give input.

-Kondo said while learning the Vita there were some troubles but that it was pretty smooth. He said that he is happy that they are getting closer and closer to making characters who realize their vision. He said that while originally they had thought they might port older games to the Vita first (as companies often do on new hardware), he thought it might be a better challenge to make a new game in Celceta instead.

Torrance, Calif., (January 31, 2013) – XSEED Games, an independent-minded publisher, is celebrating the new year by announcing a robust lineup of action and RPG titles scheduled for North American release in 2013. Among the titles XSEED Games has revealed it will be publishing is the upcoming action thriller, KILLER IS DEAD™. Other titles confirmed for release in 2013 include a host of handheld titles, such as the RPG adventure title Rune Factory 4 for the Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held system, as well as Ys: Memories of Celceta and Valhalla Knights 3 for the PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system. The company will also be releasing Ys I&II Chronicles+ on Windows® PC via Steam.

“XSEED is ringing in the New Year by sharing a glimpse of our upcoming lineup of great titles for 2013, including the exciting partnership for KILLER IS DEAD, the newest creation from KADOKAWA GAMES and SUDA51, which I personally selected to bring to the US market,” said Shinichi Suzuki, President and CEO of XSEED Games. “In the coming year, we will release an array of solid action and role-playing games that are sure to delight fans through a combination of high quality gameplay and well-crafted localization.”

The full lineup of XSEED Games titles includes:

KILLER IS DEAD
PS3™/Xbox 360®, Summer 2013 – Created by game legend SUDA51, this highly anticipated original game is set in a not-so-distant future similar to (but not the same as) the world we know now. The player takes control of an executioner named Mondo Zappa who wields a Japanese sword in his right hand and brandishes interchangeable weapons in his left artificial arm. His ultimate goal is to execute various heinous criminals scattered around the world and beyond.

Completely unique visuals and outstanding stylish action come together to deliver an unprecedented gaming experience in KILLER IS DEAD. This brand-new action title is being jointly developed by KADOKAWA GAMES and GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE, with SUDA51 lending his trademark sense of style at the helm. Deep Silver, the games label of Koch Media, will bring the title to the countries of Europe and Oceania.
Rune Factory 4
Nintendo 3DS, Summer 2013 – The first game in the Rune Factory simulation/role-playing series to be released on the Nintendo 3DS, Rune Factory 4 adds new romance options, the ability to select a male or female character at the game’s start, and has endless crafting, farming and cooking opportunities. The player becomes Selphia’s prince or princess and can manage the village, explore the countryside with townsfolk, or tame monsters in the wild to aid them in battle or help out in the fields.
Valhalla Knights 3 Vita
PS Vita, Fall 2013 – The fourth title published by XSEED Games in the popular Valhalla Knights action RPG series, Valhalla Knights 3 features a robust character creation system and brings intense seven-on-seven party-based combat to the PS Vita. Players can select from one of seven races and one of twenty job classes such as Fighter, Mage, Thief, Priest, Akatoki or Archer, while also equipping two sub-jobs. Players can adventure with a party of their own making or brave the wilds alone and seamlessly engage in real-time combat to earn skill points for upgrading and unlocking abilities unique to each job class.

Ys: Memories of Celceta

PS Vita, Fall 2013 – An extensive reimagining of (and pseudo-sequel to) Ys IV, one of the only Ys games never before released in the west, this title puts more enemies on screen than ever before and features the largest, most non-linear overworld in Ys history, boasting superlative graphics and a triumphant evolution of the fast-paced gameplay that has made this series a timeless action RPG mainstay. As the game opens, long-time protagonist Adol Christin finds himself alone, dazed and confused in a strange land, and must piece together his memories of how he got here and why, all the while struggling to determine whom he can trust.

Ys I & II Chronicles+

Windows PC (Steam), February – XSEED Games has delighted RPG fans for years by publishing multiple Ys titles from legendary RPG developer Nihon Falcom for handheld platforms and Windows PC, and now Ys fans can celebrate once more as an enhanced remake of the classic first two games in the Ys franchise comes to Steam for the first time. Including both Ancient Ys Vanished: Omen and Ancient Ys Vanished: The Final Chapter, this action RPG tells of red-haired swordsman Adol Christin’s inaugural adventure to defeat the evil forces blighting the isle of Esteria and uncover the mysteries of the eponymous lost land of Ys.

“This will be an amazing year for us,” said Ken Berry, Executive Vice President of XSEED Games. “Our portfolio continues to expand and it’s evident by this stellar lineup of titles, so we’re excited to share more details and hear what our fans are most looking forward to playing in the coming year.”

Additionally, XSEED Games recently announced that the company will be publishing the highly anticipated action RPG title, Pandora’s Tower, on Wii™ this spring. E3 Trailer
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfi3CQHSGLg[/ame]
A bustling town deep in the frontier at the foot of an endless sea of trees… It is into this wild and untamed setting that a young man collapses, memories gone and only his name to guide him.

Bereft of his past, Adol Cristin wanders the town of Casnan searching for clues to his identity. Joined by a thief who claims to have known him, the young adventurer helps rescue doomed miners from a collapse; an act which attracts the attention of the Romun Army general in town. Impressed with their skills, the pair is enlisted to explore the sea of trees and map the vast expanses of Celceta – a task which many have attempted in the past, but from which none have ever returned.

Alone in this strange and uncharted frontier, Adol must brave the perilous sea of trees as he struggles to regain his memories and decide whom he can trust, and who is simply attempting to take advantage of his memory loss in order to deceive him…

Ys: Memories of Celceta Limited Edition announced

Xseed will release a limited edition version of Ys: Memories of Celceta, Falcom’s action RPG for the PlayStation Vita. Titled the “Silver Anniversary Edition,” this version of the game will come with a bunch of bonus items when it releases alongside the standard version this holiday.

The limited edition of Ys: Memories of Celceta will include a 3-CD collection of music spanning the entire Ys franchise, a cloth map of the lands of Celceta, a compass emblazoned with a logo, and “Adol’s Travel Journal,” which contains strategies and art work for the game.

The standard version of Ys: Memories of Celceta will cost $40, while the limited edition will cost $60. The game is a re-imagining of Ys IV, with changes to the game’s story and more. Xseed have not announced a release date for the RPG yet.

We're talking just under four hours of Ys music, both OST and arranged, with no tracks duplicated from any of our previously-released musical selections CDs (save for "Rush Out" from Ys Seven, where we're including the full version on this set as opposed to the short version on the Ys Seven Musical Selections CD).
Every Ys game is represented. Disc 1 will contain tracks, both OST and arranged, from Ys I, II, III and Felghana, disc 2 from Ys IV, V and Celceta, and disc 3 from Ys VI, Seven and Origin.

Ys: Memories of Celceta headed to Europe via NIS
Ys: Memories of Celceta will launch in Europe in early 2014 thanks to NIS America. The Vita RPG releases in North America later this year thanks to XSEED; the latter publisher released some localised screenshots recently. No word on whether the fancy special edition will make it to Europe.

This year’s PlayStation Awards event is drawing near, and Sony’s Play Community website recently spoke with Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo about the future of the company’s two main franchises: Ys and Legend of Heroes.

The talk about the franchise’s future starts out with Ys and what we can expect from it in the near future.

“Thanks to all you fans, Ys will be celebrating its 26th anniversary this year,” starts Kondo. “We’d like to keep spreading the ‘Ys-ism’ that our staff members have created, and I believe we’ll continue evolving it while staying true to the series. We haven’t reached a point where I can tell you much about the next game, but for now, I can tell you that we’re definitely looking to introduce new elements to the series.”

“With new hardware and network structure, the way games are made is different nowadays, so we’re currently in the midst of deciding what to do next,” he continues. “We’ve had great reception regarding the PlayStation Vita’s touch screen features from those who’ve played Ys: Memories of Celceta, so I believe we’ll be working even harder to further evolve the Ys series.”

Ys: Memories of Celceta first English trailer

[ame]www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Tw_O_fEFPk[/ame]
It’s Thanksgiving weekend. Your whole family is in a tryptophan-induced coma from eating too much turkey. But you? You ate nothing but pumpkin pie, so you’re still wide awake.
Fortunately, you’ve got your trusty Vita on hand, along with a copy of the Ys: Memories of Celceta Silver Anniversary Edition, which launches on November 26th. So while your in-laws all dream of sugarplums and dandelions, you’ll be off exploring the Great Forest and saving the world from evil yet again.

The latest installment in Nihon Falcom’s 25 year-old RPG franchise, Ys: Memories of Celceta, is a complete reimagining of the series’ legendary fourth installment. To make a long story short(ish), Ys IV is a game that’s been published in Japan three times previously — and all were completely different games that were developed independently by different companies.
Despite each one introducing and greatly expounding upon some of the franchise’s most pivotal lore, Falcom never actually created their own version of the game… until now.
And in keeping with tradition, this is no mere remake. The story is brand new, and the land of Celceta has been expanded from the usual handful of maps to an overworld so massive, you could easily fit the combined worlds of every other Ys title to date inside it… several times over, at that.

If you’ve never played an Ys game before, though, there’s absolutely no need to fear. Virtually every Ys experience is a standalone one to begin with, and this game really drives the point home by beginning its narrative with Adol losing all his memories. Thwarting the trope, however, his missing moments have taken physical form as glowing orbs scattered throughout the Great Forest, each of which can be regained with a mere touch. These range from important details about his recent excursions, to cherished memories of his childhood (A series first!), mixed in with perhaps even a stray memory or two from someone else altogether…
Solving the mystery of who he is and what happened to him in the Great Forest previously is only one piece of the puzzle. There’s political intrigue lurking around every turn, signs of a lost, centuries-old civilization beginning to surface throughout the land, and serious accusations mounting against our poor protagonist by people he simply can’t remember. Add to this a massive yet highly varied land to map out in meticulous detail, and Ys: Memories of Celceta easily becomes Adol’s largest and longest journey of all time.
Fortunately, he doesn’t have to go it alone, as the party system from Ys Seven makes its triumphant return with numerous tweaks to help keep things fresh. Switch among your three party members with the touch of a button, or use the Vita’s rear touch pad to strategize your party’s AI behavior. Learn newer, more devastating skills by taking down massive creatures through real-time, action-based combat. This is all aided by an equipment crafting system so versatile that even the weakest weapon or piece of armor in the game becomes a valuable component for something greater down the line.

The game itself can be yours for $39.99 this November 26th (at retail and on PlayStation Store) — though if you can track down a copy of the limited Silver Anniversary Edition, $59.99 will net you not only the game itself, but also a 120+ page book full of maps, strategies, and art, along with a 3-CD compilation of music (both original and arranged) from throughout the Ys series’ storied history. Plus, a detailed cloth map of the lands of Celceta, and a logo-emblazoned compass.
So make sure you’ve got a nice, juicy turkey ready to go this Thanksgiving, and when everyone else is asleep, fire up your copy of Ys: Memories of Celceta and get lost within the Great Forest. It may be a little dangerous, but believe me, the rewards are well worth the risk. You’ll be thankful you made the journey!
