Passt also. :)

DiRT Rally Coming To Linux Next Month

http://support.feralinteractive.com/en/mac-linux-games/f12015/faqs/linux_graphics_drivers/
The graphics card series and driver versions below have been tested, and these and higher series or versions will run the game without issues:

Nvidia
Series: 640
Driver version: 364.19
NOTE: Open-source Nvidia graphics drivers are not currently supported by F1™ 2015. Unfortunately, the current open-source Nvidia drivers do not support a number of the graphical features used in the game.

AMD

AMD graphics cards are not currently supported by F1™ 2015.

Intel

Intel graphics cards are not currently supported by F1™ 2015.

Anforderungen:
Time to find out whether your Linux PC can handle DiRT Rally.

To be on the pace you’ll need an Intel Core i3-4130T or AMD FX6300 processor running Ubuntu 16.10 (64bit) or SteamOS (2.0 : 2.110), 8GB RAM and a 1GB NVIDIA 650ti/AMD R9 270 graphics card* or better.

For a serious competitive edge, you’ll want an Intel Core i7-4770 processor with 8GB RAM and a 4GB NVIDIA 970 graphics card* or better.

*NVIDIA graphics cards require driver version 370.28. AMD graphics cards require MESA 13.0.2 or better.

DiRT Rally
takes Linux to the edge on 2 March.

http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2017/04/ubuntu-18-04-ship-gnome-desktop-not-unity

I took the view that, if convergence was the future and we could deliver it as free software, that would be widely appreciated both in the free software community and in the technology industry, where there is substantial frustration with the existing, closed, alternatives available to manufacturers. I was wrong on both counts.
In the community, our efforts were seen fragmentation not innovation. And industry has not rallied to the possibility, instead taking a ‘better the devil you know’ approach to those form factors, or investing in home-grown platforms. What the Unity8 team has delivered so far is beautiful, usable and solid, but I respect that markets, and community, ultimately decide which products grow and which disappear.

I’m writing to let you know that we will end our investment in Unity8, the phone and convergence shell. We will shift our default Ubuntu desktop back to GNOME for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

i3wm ftw!
