Ragnarok Odyssey Ships 250k Copies

The PS Vita exclusive action rpg from Game Arts has shipped some 250k copies across Japan, Asia and North America.
This newest figure was shared this week by the game’s publisher ( in Japan & Europe ) GungHo President & CEO, Kazuki Morishita, during an interview with Cnet Japan. Morishita also expressed satisfaction with the attachment rate for the title but didn’t provide any details on its percentage.
Last July, just four months following its February 2nd release in Japan, Ragnarok Odyssey became one of the first games for the PS Vita to cross 100k shipments, digital sales included.
XSEED published the game on October 30th of last year in North America. A playable demo became available in Europe earlier this week which proceeds the game’s February 20th ( digital only ) release in the region.

Der Dlc könnte inkompatibel sein wenn du ihn dir aus einem anderen store ziehst..
EU weit müsste gleich sein, aber ich bin mir da nicht sicher.

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace Is An Upgraded Release For PlayStation 3 And Vita

Ragnarok Odyssey is getting an updated version on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, sort of like Capcom’s Monster Hunter games do with their “G” versions. Ragnarok Odyssey Ace is in development for the two systems, according to this week’s Famitsu magazine.



The game is a refined version of Ragnarok Odyssey, and will contain all the DLC from the original game, as well as an extra episode after the ending.


Ragnarok Odyssey Ace is slated for release on July 11th in Japan.

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace Will Have Daily Quests And Other Tweaks

GungHo Online Entertainment and Game Arts are working on a "G" version of Ragnarok Odyssey for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3. Ragnarok Odyssey Ace lets players develop their weapons by clearing quests and you can choose how you weapons grow. When you’re hunting solo you can get a mercenary helper that’s somewhat customizable. You can choose your helper’s gender.



Ragnarok Odyssey Ace has new enemies like the Niohoggr, new skills, and Yggdrasil Tower which creates a dungeon for you to explore. Yggdrasil Tower has a multiplayer mode and a break floor after every five floors. GungHo Online Entertainment will also release daily quests to give players something to do everyday.


The game has been fine tuned too like adding traps for hunters, powering up healing magic for clerics and speeding up spells for mages.

Niohoggr Roars In Ragnarok Odyssey Ace

Raganarok Odyssey Ace is an expanded version of Ragnarok Odyssey with all of the DLC, patches, and the Yggdrasil Tower. This addition creates random dungeons for players to explore. Ragnarok Odyssey Ace takes place at the end of days for the Norse mythology gods called the Twilight of Gods. There are new enemies to fight too like the Niohoggr.

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace will be available for PlayStation Vita on July 13. A PlayStation 3 version is also in development, but scheduled for release at a later date.
